I have been working with Joan for a couple of years now on and off. Joan has created the food for some of my in home gatherings as well as birthday parties for my children that have not been at my home. I have also had her help me with my day to day cooking by preparing dishes I could freeze or use that night. She has given me help many times and I have always been pleased with the food she has prepared.

Some things that stand out are her lasagna and the cakes she has made and decorated for the kids parties. The best cake I remember was Braden's 7th birthday cake and asked her to make a hockey rink on the cake and she did such a fabulous job. Braden absolutely loved it. And her oatmeal chocolate chip cookies are great too! :) Well, all her baking is amazing!!!!

I attended a neighbour’s party in the summer that had been catered by Joan Arias and found the food to be exceptional, therefore when I found myself having to entertain 14 people on Thanksgiving I did not hesitate to contact her.

After consulting with me, Joan came up with some very unique and interesting ideas for my Thanksgiving party and everyone that attended agreed that the food was fantastic! Not only is Joan a great cook, but the presentation is beautiful and she gave us the option of using her lovely platters for a stunning visual impact. She dropped off the food in plenty of time for the set up and made sure that I understood the heating / serving instructions before she left. Joan Arias is my life saver! I do not cook very much and one of the things I DO NOT do is make a pie. Well, I had 2 apple pies made for me to take to a pot luck dinner. These pies were so fabulous, I couldn't believe my eyes. When they were brought out onto the table everyone gasped at their look. They looked home baked. And the taste? Yummy! Made with spy aples, they were terrific. I can't help but praise her talents. She had made other meals for me as well and I haven't been disappointed. Thanks Joan for your creative talents. You have made eating a joy!
